Our Client based in Kingsnorth is looking for a temporary Site Operative Forklift Driver
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am – 5pm
Pay: £11 ph (paid weekly by PAYE)
To efficiently carry out all operational duties surrounding the operation of the Kingsnorth facility, with particular focus on the oil collections and packaged waste storage and handling. Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Site Operative Forklift Driver duties and responsibilities:
- Working with the Site Supervisor to plan and undertake operational tasks on the site including the receipt, testing, off-loading, storage, treatment and recording of various wastes including oil and packaged wastes.
- Ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the operations are compliant with the various site operating procedures, permits and authorisations.
- Ensure that wastes are only stored in the correct areas and in accordance with site operational procedures and permitted activities.
- To record and relay site information as required including loads in and out and stock levels.
- To complete all paperwork in accordance with company processes and legal requirements.
All operational and mess areas to be kept clean and tidy. Good housekeeping to the practiced at all times.
Site Operative Forklift Driver skills and abilities:
- Forklift licence
- Self-motivated and ability to plan your daily workload
- Ability to receive and give instruction
- Act on own initiative
- Self-motivated
- Able to highlight issues / recommendations
- Be reactive and open to change of plans / work type
