Our Client based on the Medway City Estate is seeking an Operations Support Assistantthe Operations Support Assistant role is offered as full-time permanent role working from the office (no home working).

 

Salary:                        up to £25K pa, paid monthly

Benefits:                    28 days leave inc BH, annual PR bonus

                                    Excellent working conditions – newly refurbished offices

                                    Free parking

Hours:                        9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday

                                    9am to 4pm, Friday

 

This exciting administration and customer service facing role reports directly to the General Manager.

 

Operations Support Assistant Main Responsibilities: 

 

  • Planning and profiling all confirmed jobs for trade customers
    • Managing the process from order received to the point of delivery
    • Being the point of contact for the Trade Customers
    • Effectively communicate by phone and email
  • Working with the General Manager to ensure all and delivered 100% Right First Time
  • Understanding the process and systems of the business
  • Develop a ‘Right first Time’ culture
  • Have good attention to detail, good time management
  • Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient way
  • Check prices and specification of orders placed
  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Able to prioritise own workload, work as part of a team

 

Operations Support Assistant Key tasks defined: 

 

 Planning and profiling all confirmed jobs 

  • Planning/profiling orders and setting schedules for confirmed sales orders
  • Effectively communicate with Trade Customers
  • Ensure material orders are placed in a timely manner to support delivery dates
  • Checking CAD Drawings & making sure we have special stock requirements - training given

 

Reviewing the demands of the Trade Customers

  • Manage the Trade Customers experience
  • Resolving issues regarding Trade Customers
  • Working within the structure for dealing with Trade Customer orders in the most efficient way
  • Offer the best customer service at all times
