Our Client based in Erith is seeking a creative Marketing Assistant (part time).  The role is offered as a permanent position working 22.5 hours per week.  The role is working as part of a busy team (4), reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.


Salary:  competitive

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Assistant will be to help grow the company’s online presence, ensuring that all email communications and social media posts are engaging, effective and targeted to the correct audience. The company launches over 400 new products per annum, split between 4 launches.  Each launch is supported by a fully interactive digital e-Brochure and a wealth of lifestyle photography.


Marketing Assistant Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in the development of the digital marketing strategy
  • Grow the company’s presence through various social media platforms including:
    - Instagram

-          LinkedIn

-          Facebook
- Twitter
- YouTube

  • Production of weekly email communications
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the marketing database
  • Support with ad-hoc digital campaigns
  • Day to day administration responsibilities when required including daily review of Marketing inbox


Skills and Experience

  • Proven success of implementing and executing B2B online marketing campaigns
  • Proof reading and copy writing skills
  • Photoshop experience (ideally InDesign/Adobe Suite / Publisher – not essential)
  • Knowledge and experience of writing engaging marketing content for social media and email campaigns
  • An understanding of social media scheduling tools
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Enthusiastic can-do attitude, ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail and results focused
  • Ability to organise effectively and multi-task with good communication skills
  • Creative yet logical mind-set
  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Desirable:
  • CIM Qualification
  • Experience of website administration



Educated to A Level as a minimum, ideally degree standard

Minimum 1 year’s Marketing experience

Full Driving Licence
