Our Client based on the Medway City Estate, Rochester is seeking an Aftersales Technical Assistant.  The role of Aftersales Technical Assistant is offered as a permanent full time position (office based), working Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.45pm (42.5 hours).

Salary:            £20,000 - £25,000 pa

Benefits:        28 days leave including BH (some kept for Christmas shutdown), free parking

The purpose of the role is to offer accurate administration support to the Technical Director, new and existing Clients.  You will be taking calls, booking surveys, running the administration for installation projects.  Full training will be given – our client will consider candidates looking for their first office-based role – if you are working within engineering and want to progress into an office position this could be the role for you.

Aftersales Technical Assistant responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all aftersales enquiries are acknowledged – telephone / email etc
  • Arranging engineers to site – working to deadlines
  • Issuing the necessary paperwork (job sheet + parts) etc
  • Checking the time sheets on weekly basis
  • Issuing Risk Assessment and Method Statement to customers.
  • Updating the aftersales contract work on Excel
  • Ordering the plant for refurbishment contracts
  • Issuing invoice list to accounts on weekly basis.
  • Scanning and filing paperwork
  • Booking refurb contracts on the system
  • Liaising with customers to arrange site attendance for assembly.
