Our Client a manufacturer based near Erith/Dartford is seeking a Surface Mount Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to work within electronic manufacturing.
Salary: £10.42 ph – weekly pay - £21,161.76 pa
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday
8am to 1pm on Friday
39 hours per week
Location: Crayford/Dartford
Benefits: 25 days leave + 8 BH
overtime and time and a half Monday to Saturday
To manufacture a wide range of electronic assemblies within the Surface Mount Devices (SMD) department to ensure goods are produced in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines.
Surface Mount Technician skills and experience:
To place reeled and other parts on trolleys and decant parts after use.
To ensure trolleys are loaded correctly and optimised for production.
To liaise with stores to return unneeded parts.
To be aware of company health and safety, anti-static and IPC (best practice) standard requirements..
To be competent in the assembly of SMD PCB’s to required standards.
To run specific SMD lines to production schedule and relevant quality standards.
To understand manufacturing documents and follow specific instructions.
To highlight any build discrepancies to Production Engineering.
To ensure section area is clean, tidy and safe for all staff at all times.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
General standard of education required.
Experience within electronic manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience of running SMD equipment preferred.
