Our Client based on the outskirts of Dartford is seeking a skilled CNC Manual Machinist to join them on a permanent, full-time contract.
CNC Manual Machinist
Pay: up to £16.00 ph DOE – paid monthly
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Friday 7.30am to 2:00pm
Breaks: 30 minutes lunch Monday to Thursday 10-minute lunch Friday.
Overtime: paid at time and half
Holiday: 20 days + BH in year one, rising to 25 days pa inc BH
CNC Manual Machinist - working as part of a team, you will undertake various tasks using CNC and manual machinery you will undertake a varied and challenging themes of work often requiring self-designed jigs and fixtures.
CNC Manual Machinist responsibilities
CNC / Manual machinist / mechanical engineer covering all aspects of machining
- Milling and turning
- Manufacturing products using machine tools
- Service, repairs and refurbishment of mechanical products
- Manual machinist / mechanical engineer
- Milling and turning experience
- Mechanical assembly/repair experience
Qualifications
- Apprentice time served or equivalent with City and Guilds qualifications to level 3
- Proven current track record in engineering machining disciplines.
